Kepler

Kubernetes Efficient Power Level Exporter that measures and exposes the energy consumption of workloads running on a cluster.

Overview

Kepler uses eBPF and hardware power-metering interfaces to estimate the energy consumption of individual pods and containers, exposing that data as Prometheus metrics. It's one of the few tools that connects Kubernetes workloads directly to power and carbon-footprint data.

Kepler is a fit for platform teams that need to track, report on, or optimize the energy and carbon impact of their Kubernetes workloads, a capability no other project in this catalog currently provides.
